About Me!

I am a professional Life Coach who specializes in personal growth, relationship and career coaching, and I maintain a private practice in the Hill Country of Texas. I have clients who I meet with from Austin to San Antonio and some in between. I utilize a combination of theories and consider myself to be eclectic in approach. I believe that we are all unique creations and that what works for one may not work for another. My approach is mainly CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Person Centered. It is my belief that all of us should be treated with respect and dignity. I express empathy, genuineness, and positive regard. Most of have the answers we seek within ourselves, my job is just to help you get to those answers. I do believe that you must put forth the work in order to grow and achieve your fullest potential in life. No one but you can do this. We are all on a journey and those we meet up along the way help us to reach our ultimate goals.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. Yes, a true cheese head, Packer backer, and Lumberjack. Growing up, I loved sports, especially downhill skiing and skating. I completed my undergraduate studies at North Central Bible College and received a BS in Behavioral Science and Bible. I also minored in Children’s Ministry. I completed my Master's in Mental Health Counseling, specializing in working with severely mentally ill from Capella University which is an accredited CACREP approved school.

In addition, I have 3 beautiful, smart, and funny girls who I love dearly. I enjoy music (all kinds), art, cooking and baking, dancing, and exercising. I am crazy about Zumba. I am a spiritual person who has a very good understanding of many different faiths. While I am a practicing Catholic, my approach to other people's beliefs and choices in life is very non-judgmental. I love learning about culture as well.
